Latest Twitter Meme: Japanese Love Couple in a Snow Storm (恋人といる時の雪って特別な気分に浸れて私は好きです)
There was a huge snow storm that hit Japan on February 7-8, 2014 and left more than 30 cm of snow on the ground. From this storm was born the latest Twitter meme. A couple was interviewed on the streets of Shibuya about how they felt about all this snow.
What the guy said was “There’s something special in the air about being with your loved one when it’s snowing, so I like it!” You also see his girlfriend hiding her face and looking really embarrassed.
Twitter users have gone nuts with this guy’s declaration and have adapted it with characters from many different anime series including Love Live, iM@S, Gintama, Free and Kancolle among others. Here’s a sample of what’s cropped up on Twitter.
