This is really cool. I do want to point out that USB 3 has been out for quite some time and apart from color, it normally looks the same.

Also, Apple Lightning.
USB 3.1 will be a bit different from 3.0 in that it will have a special “Type-C” plug that is reversible and pretty cool though it does mean throwing away your previous cables.
